Madonna’s longtime makeup artist Gina Brooke has teamed up with Make Up For Ever to create Aqua Rouge #8 in “an iconic shade of red” as the official lip color for the singer’s MDNA tour. Brooke approached Make Up For Ever after using the Aqua Rouge collection last year. Aqua Rouge #8 is a classic red that is designed to brighten the entire face and be universally flattering on all skin tones. The high-impact liquid lip color is launching next month as part of Make Up For Ever’s new Aqua Rouge lip color collection. It is highly pigmented, smudge-proof and sweat-proof. Aqua Rouge #8 retails for $24 and is available at www.sephora.com, Sephora stores and Make Up For Ever Boutiques. The slim red and black tube features a color gradation cap.

“I loved working with Make Up For Ever to create a custom shade of Aqua Rouge specifically for Madonna. My biggest challenge was to find a lip product that was reliable and long-lasting, and knew choosing something from Make Up For Ever’s Aqua range was going to be ideal especially with a minute and a half for touch ups between songs. There’s no room for mistakes,” said Brooke.
